Mary Garner

      

Born in London in 1985, Mary Garner trained at Wimbledon College of Art, Kensington & Chelsea College and gained a 1st Class Degree at Edinburgh College of Art.

She was recently awarded the Royal Scottish Academy’s Kinross Scholarship to study in Florence and the Anna Mahler Association Award to study books and print in Spoleto, Italy.

Mary works in her studio in London.

 

Mary Garner Conservation

Mary Garner is a trained paper conservator with a thorough understanding of books structures and bound materials. She has volunteered and been employed at a number of national cultural institutions, working with their collections and in conservation departments. She has a particular interest in preservation and the care of collections with experience in collections management, collections database development and implementation and cataloguing.
